Oh man! This is my first time hearing Junbugg work on some instrumental ish, and it sounds damn good. I may be biased because we used to be roommates and all, but dude’s progressed a ton since his earlier works. I’m gonna ride his coattails when he blows up.

Junbugg goes HAM on the drums around the halfway mark. TOO GOOD. DJ Shadow or Exile or anyone else that goes HAM on the drums would be proud.

Closing Up Season One

First of all, I would like to thank everyone who bought a shirt from Season One. As corny as it sounds, you will all have a special place in my heart for supporting me as I launched The Aesthetic Project. As season one comes to a close, I’d like to mention that there are still a few shirts that need to be delivered, so if you know I owe you one, shoot me a call or text or e-mail. And for those of you who missed their chance to cop a shirt, we still have some left so check out the shop!!!

Second, due to financial constraints (considering I’m a broke college student and all), we’re putting production of apparel on hold for the summer. But don’t fret! Season 2 will come out this fall :) Saying that, I don’t want to leave you hanging for the whole summer, so stay tuned because we’re going to have a sale on the shirts from our Forever Collection some time next month!!!

With all that said, we’re going to close up season one with an instrumental entitled “The Poison Apple” that was created to go with Zombie Princess. Credits to Junbugg Productions of Painkillaz. Hope everyone is having an awesome summer, and don’t forget to check back at the site for updates.

Do you remember those days when things were perfect?

Without a worry in the world, back when things were golden.

Nothing could fuckin fade us. Nobody could fuckin bring us down.

I still reminisce, it goes a little something like this.

I remember when things were simple, two dimples and no pimples. Your peers don’t give you pressure and the tears are only little. Only eat, sleep, laugh and play, no worries in the world. Back when boys hung out with boys and weren’t torn apart by girls. Infatuation, child crushes nothin serious to consider. No lost loves to fuck you up no alcohol inside the liver. No real responsibility or important choices to make. No life altering decisions that will serve to determine fate. Self-conscious insecurities and superficial traits didn’t matter because the laughter wasn’t forced or wasn’t fake. Back when we didn’t look over shoulders to make sure no one attacked or neglecting to look at all and feel them stab you in the back. But now things are complicated and only change stays the same. The pain is still the pain but now there’s somebody to blame. We look into the mirror and choose a disguise to wear because nothing gold can stay it goes away and vanishes into thin air

Everything was golden before innocence was stolen, our ignorance was holding our world from being broken. Before we knew what pain was before people went away, now once more into the fray because nothing gold can stay. And everyone was hoping, but now hopelessness is growing and its hold, chokes our throats with remorse of passing moments. Opportunities are lost and our faith erodes away cause nothing gold can stay, nothing gold can stay.
